The LIAT tools are a set of information and decision support tools used to identify, assess and promote innovation in local settings, with a particular focus on the rural and informal economy. The evolving tools further assists with engagements with local actors in improving learning and innovation.<\/p><p>The LIAT communities of practice project aims to facilitate the establishment of innovation communities of practice (CoP) among local actors for innovation driven LED in select district municipalities.
